Massacre at Rafah: Palestine's Final Solution
Egypt's Impotence, The Sinai Peninsula & Israel's Genocidal Endgame for Gaza
Dear readers,
Any who read my last post will have noticed the off-cuff, sarcastic, self-ridiculing tone—not my usual suit. Now I’m back to serious. Nothing could be more serious than the subject of this post.
“'Israel' has successfully corralled millions of Palestinians into the border city of Rafah. From here, there is nowhere left to go…”
As many are aware, Israeli genocide of Palestinian people, Gazans in particular, has gone on at an astounding rate over the past 4 months. More than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed, largely civilians. With most of northern Gaza destroyed, its inhabitants have fled to the south of Gaza and 1.3 million refugees are now huddled near the southern border with Egypt in the vicinity of the city of Rafah. Of all people throughout the world suffering under conditions of starvation, Gazans now make up 80%. Yet Israel’s project of ethnic cleansing and genocide continues. They are now firebombing Rafah. The threat looms that Rafah could become another Dresden.
In the midst of all this suffering, the legacy media continues its hollow narrative, ignoring the fact that even the International Court at Hague has admitted that South Africa’s indictment against Israel for crimes of genocide—crimes that abrogate Israel’s own post-WW2 agreement to defend against genocide ever occuring again anywhere in the world—deserves to be given a serious look. Instead, as independent journalist Jonothan Cook exposes, the BBC has scuttled around the issue, ignoring the elephant in the room and serving up a red herring instead to keep its mesmerized audience thoroughy distracted and complicit.
Contrast that with the view from the side of those who are suffering in Gaza and from the side of those identified with them through a common faith: Islam. The view is entirely distinct, and arguably more nuanced. I’d like to give our readers a peak into that view as told by a Bengali Muslim, Ahnaf Ibn Qais, Substack author of theThe Fall of The West.
But first let me clarify in case any might surmise that I lean toward Islam: I do not. Having been raised as a boy in a Christian dispensationalist, pro-Israel environment and having rejected those beliefs in my twenties, I remain religiously neutral, though I still consider myself a person of faith. Moreover, it seems clear to me that any religion or creed can provide the seeds for moral superiority, hatred, intolerance and, yes, even genocide, while the same religion could provide motive for compassion, caring, charity and kindness, and for a feeling of fellow humanity toward ALL others. As made abundantly clear by Presbyterian minister and veteran journalist Chris Hedges, the decisions are up to each one of us. What will we choose?
I’ll note that Chris here addresses Muslims, along with everyone else, and that Ahnaf has also included this speech in his article (below).
And in case you weren’t aware, there are many religious Jews—alongside those who are non-religious—who condemn Zionism and the actions of the Israeli government toward Palesinians: the degradation, displacement and assaults perpetrated over many decades that have led to resentment in Gaza and to their resistance. As Rabbi David Weiss notes, this was not always the case. He tells how prior to the Zionists growing encroachment on Palestinian lands, Jews and Muslims lived peacefully side by side, even watching each others’ children. And farther back, how Jews fleeing persecution in Europe during the Inquisition had been received into Arab lands in the Middle East and allowed to live peacefully and continue practicing their own religion. I’ve studied enough of the history of the region to know this to be the case.
Back to the current situation, things look extremely critical. With nowhere else to go and with the Israeli military prepared to do the worst, Gazans are set to be the “burnt sacrifice” of unrelenting Zionist nationalist extremism. To me, it was eye-opening to read through Ahnaf’s thorough analysis. Whatever you may think of the situation in Gaza and the Middle East, I believe you will find this enlightening, and much of it may be new to you as it was to me.

“Sisi is aware that if he opens that border and the Palestinians come rushing through and they set up in the Sinai desert in refugee camps he knows that Israel will never allow them to return to Palestine again. He's also aware he will go down in history as being considered a collaborator who helped with the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Sisi knows that categorically he cannot help to facilitate the Palestinians leaving Gaza. …
… Of course I say that, but the stories of the borders are that if you pay $9,000 to the Egyptians On the Border you can cross, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Sisi is telling them to take those bribes. I think it just shows the State of Affairs in Egypt where you can bypass everything by paying bribes!”
~Sami Abdullah Hamdi, MENA Geopolitical commentator & analyst; interview with ‘Propaganda & Co.’ Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@prop_co), Regarding the Egyptian Leadership’s current impasse while facing the ‘Israeli’ Genocide & Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, broadcast February 7 (2024)
SOURCE: Excerpted from the interview linked below, skip ahead to 1:07:04 to hear the analysis regarding Egypt & ‘Israel,’ given the current Crimes of the latter.
The Time Has Come.
'Israel' has successfully corralled millions of Palestinians into the border city of Rafah. From here, there is nowhere left to go:
To the south lies the Philadelphi Corridor, the border zone demarcating Egypt from Palestine. Southward from there lies the Sinai Peninsula, the gateway to Cairo & Egypt-proper, home to over 110+ million people.
The 'Israelis' have already made their stance on this matter clear:
After the daring military raid conducted by the Palestinian Resistance, henceforth known as the Palestinian JOR (i.e., 'Joint Operations Room'), 'Israeli' leadership made it known to the world what their response would be:
Ground invasions into Gaza, which the Zionist military would utilize to achieve three primary objectives (as outlined by Netanyahu):
The freeing of all hostages,
The destruction of Hamas & friends (i.e. the JOR),
& the complete demilitarization of Gaza.
So far, 'Israeli' leadership has failed to meet all of these goals concretely. This, despite over 120+ days of continuous aerial bombardment of largely civilian infrastructure, densely packed with primarily women & children:
Most of the JOR has gone into Tunnel City, spanning hundreds of miles underneath Gaza, with only a tiny portion martyred against the Zionist enemy. This fact means that the lion's share of the JOR's military capabilities are intact presently.
Far from being demilitarized, the rest of Gaza & now even the West Bank is rapidly catching fire, with young men taking up arms to volunteer en masse, rapidly filling up the ranks of the martyred, bolstering the Resistance's numbers.
Therefore, Gaza (& most of Palestine-proper) is rapidly militarizing, with the JOR being more powerful & influential than pre-October 7. As for the hostages, the vast majority of them remain tucked away inside Tunnel City.
'Israeli leadership,' therefore, has nothing to show for it. Public Anger is boiling inside the entity & its citizenry demands blood.
Thus, we come to the border town of Rafah, where the Genocide & Ethnic Cleansing will reach a climax. It will be broadcast LIVE to the whole world, with assistance from the Egyptian Dictator:

Note: Should there be a Mass Aerial Bombardment of Rafah by Zionist warplanes, the 1.3+ million Palestinians huddled there in concentration camp conditions (i.e., around 151 square kilometres maximum concerning the total surface area of Rafah & surroundings) would rush the Border Fence with Egypt en masse.
At this point, Tanks (of the sort highlighted above) & related armoured vehicles may feasibly 'box in' the Palestinians on the other side of the Border fence.
This manoeuvre would form a de facto' kill zone' in which tens to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians get mowed down via Firebombing (Dresden-style).
The Egyptian Dictator is over 163 billion dollars in debt to the IMF & others presently... meaning that such a vile, disgusting 'collaboration' with the Zionists & thus, a total betrayal of the Palestinians is not out of the question.
Now, make no mistake:
It is presently unclear what *specific* course of action the Egyptian Dictator will take. Ultimately, we do not have access to his innermost thoughts nor any of his motives & intentions. However, Dear Readers, if you believe that 'Past Action is Future Pursuit:'
It is incredibly plausible presently that the Egyptian Dictator is about to engage in the 'backstab of the century' against the Palestinian people. The preliminary signs of this looming betrayal are already beginning to appear.
Recall that only a few days & weeks prior, the Egyptian Dictator & his regime made *loud noises* about how attacks on the Philadelphi Corridor would be a 'Red Line in relations with the Zionist entity.'
Post The Camp David Accords of September 1978, Egypt has found itself mired in poverty, courtesy of various factors, chief among them its various Military Dictatorships, coupled with swelling amounts of 'Foreign Aid.'
The US provided over 1.4 billion USD in its fiscal year 2023 alone!
That amount is astronomical for a nation whose nominal GDP is around ~400 billion USD. It is no surprise, therefore, that what defines Egyptian society, post-the 1978 'peace' treaty, has been increasing levels of bureaucratic & government corruption:
When one 'follows the money,' what is happening here becomes quite evident. Be it the World Bank, IMF or other related International Vultures, society writ large has been 'purchased' by these Bankster cartels, primarily composed of 'Davos Man' & friends.
The Egyptian Dictator, hence, despite his fiery statements just weeks prior regarding 'Egypt's red lines,' has found his 'leash being pulled upon' by the actual owners of Egypt, who demand compromise with the ongoing Zionist Genocide & Ethnic Cleansing.
& it appears that the Egyptian Dictator will do just that:
Essentially, three primary pathways remain open for the Egyptian Dictator:
Allow the Palestinians to Flee into the Sinai Peninsula. This pursuit would mean giving license to the Zionist entity to commit Mass Ethnic Cleansing & Genocide of the Palestinians. At a future date, this would mean 'Israel' re-invading the Sinai.
'Box in' the Palestinians at Rafah. In which case, once the Firebombing (Dresden-style) begins of the city & surroundings, tens to hundreds of thousands would get Immolated. Egyptian society would implode if such a massacre occurred.
Break the Camp David Accords & proceed towards a War Footing. Some in the Western Press are already hinting this outcome is the most likely one.
There is no 'Fourth option.' As made amply evident at the beginning of this analytical piece, the time has come. The Zionist enemy has already made its position on the matter crystal clear for all to see: a ground invasion into Rafah is inevitable.
This means that if the Egyptian Dictator keeps the border closed as is, outcome #2 will be the 'default result.' Should he meanwhile decide to open the borders, The Sinai Peninsula would be attacked at a later date by the Zionist entity.
Tens to hundreds of thousands would still be murdered, maimed, displaced, etc. & Zionist leadership would not only never allow them to return but would (at a later date) seek to 'deal with the Sinai issue:'
The reason being that The Sinai Peninsula would house hundreds of thousands seeking retribution, reprisal, etc., & would take the requisite steps to organize, resist, etc., against Zionist designs on the region.
'Israel' would not tolerate or allow such a threat to survive. The Egyptians would, thus, ultimately get drawn into a regional war. At the very beginning of the Zionist onslaught on Palestine, outcome #1 was the preferred talking point raised by its leadership.
That talk subsided for a while (due to American protest) but is once more in the Public consciousness, given 'facts on the ground' in & around Rafah rapidly changing daily (& even hourly!), heralding a looming Regional Conflagration.
Sprawling tents & related installations at Rafah city, housing well over 1.3+ million Palestinians fleeing the Zionist onslaught of the Gaza Strip. Egypt allegedly fears the influx of Palestinian refugees into the Sinai [Getty]
Should even half of this number of Palestinians flock en masse into the Sinai, many would perish during the journey through the Peninsula. The Desert mountains, valleys & related topography are forbidding, & the primarily women & children heavy waves of Palestinian refugees would perish. Journalists who would document this 21st century 'Trail of Tears' would inadvertently be sowing the final seeds of Destruction for Egyptian society writ large:
As a country of well over 110+ million people, with a whole host of problems (economic, financial, etc.), witnessing such impotence, betrayal & consent to such a vile crime would mean the Egyptian Dictator would have to flee by private jet or something similar, lest he wish for his people to lynch him in Public for the endorsement of such horrific actions by the Zionist enemy & its American poodles.
The Egyptian Dictator is, thus, out of time.
If he does nothing, he will be 'the Anvil' to the Zionist Warplane Hammer, thereby complicit in the deaths of hundreds of thousands. If he opens the border, Egypt will implode courtesy of the destabilization of The Sinai & its various after-effects.
The only morally & strategically prudent course of action is to pursue #3 & suspend the defunct Camp David Accords. To not do so means endorsing & approving the Carnage & Slaughter mentioned earlier. Of course, all signs indicate that this is unlikely:
Multiple delegations have been sent to Cairo already by the Anglo-Zionist criminals.
Don't be fooled, Dear Readers! Talks about 'the release of hostages & temporary ceasefires' are primarily smoke & mirrors. Such talks have been used in the past by the Zionist enemy to instill false hopes & senses of security among the region's peoples.
The more likely outcome here is to engineer a sequence of 'failed negotiations' (by design) so that the 'Israelis' can greenlight future assaults into Rafah by ground. The acquiring of a 'Causus Belli' for such a purpose is far more likely.
Therefore, as the Slaughter & Carnage at Rafah draws ever closer, it is pretty clear that the Egyptian Dictator will not be 'doing the right thing.' Egypt's prostitution to the World Bank, IMF & related cartels, & his own 'flip-flopping' & weakness point to this.
There can be no denying these apparent facts. The Egyptian Dictator has failed.
He, along with most of the Arab leaders (excluding the brave people of Yemen), are nothing more than poodles, prostitutes & puppets to the Anglo-Zionists. Such a treacherous bunch will never lift a finger to help a desperate people.
Regional Armageddon in West Asia draws ever more probable & closer:
Men of the Resistance, who have repulsed, attrited & beaten back the 'Israelis' throughout the conflict, are the only 'boots on the ground' that matter presently. They alone have stood by the Palestinian people in their most dire hour of need.
There may yet be some 'Egyptian intervention.' There may yet be some semblance of courage, grit & justice left within the heart of the Egyptian Dictator. There may yet be within him (& his generals) the willingness, readiness & ability to 'do the right thing:'
But it would be unrealistic to depend upon someone who (for all the reasons mentioned earlier) finds himself 'cuffed' & impotent to stop the current unfolding horrors & tragedies. However, this need not be cause for concern:
The price to be paid (in lives, blood, property, etc.) will be enormous. Palestinians have paid it for decades without end. However, their steadfastness, determination & grit are such that they will not hesitate to pay an even more significant price from now onward.
As they do so, & as the brutal Zionist regime broadcasts its crimes with sheer giddy excitement & glee, we owe it to the Palestinian people & the Men of the Resistance not to look away as they fight for their liberation.
The casualties will be enormous & heartbreaking. The human toll will be excruciatingly painful. But in the end, Palestine will be Free. Palestine will live, & it will be prosperous & rise again. The Men of the Resistance have steeled themselves to fight to do just that.
So it does not matter if the Egyptian Dictator (or other traitorous Arab 'leaders') find their 'courage failing them.' The time has come for 'choosing.' Muslims & fair-minded people of faith (& no faith) must decide on what side they wish to be on.
Do they side with those engaged in Genocide & Ethnic Cleansing, or do they side with people fighting back the aggressor to Liberate themselves?
I will leave you, Dear Readers, with the Blessed Words of Our Master Muhammad (Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him!) regarding the matter of those who see before them an injustice occurring.
Hopefully, it will act as a 'Call to Action' for those not yet in the fray, unsure specifically of what their role ought to be, given the unprecedented & historic nature of the Crimes the Zionist enemy is inflicting upon the Palestinian people.
Let said words impact you to Move to Action against this vile, sick & depraved entity. I pray for your success on this matter!
It was narrated that Tariq bin Shihab said: "Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: Whoever among you sees an evil and changes it with his hand, then he has done his duty. Whoever is unable to do that, but changes it with his tongue, then he has done his duty. Whoever is unable to do that, but changes it with his heart, then he has done his duty, and that is the weakest of Faith.'"
